Foraging Holidays in Italy

I was initially invited over to Tuscany in early 2020 to help an amazing family-run holiday park work out how to develop their grounds in a more environmentally responsible, yet minimally sustainable fashion, as well as to help them look at the possibility of creating some local walking trails for guests interested in the outdoors, including one that passed near to the local beekeepers, just across the valley.

And whilst I was there, I obviously wanted to get an insight into the local foraging scene, to see what it was about - what was different, but also what was the same as back home. Sadly, in the main, my January visit worked out a bit too early in the season for that, but I still got to see some truly beautiful habitats, absolutely full of potential.

However, I received an email a few days after getting back asking if I'd be interested in working alongside the English/Italian team to put together some experience packages for their guests over the coming years...

All existing customers have been informed, and we are currently taking no further bookings until the situation can be sufficiently and satisfactorily reassessed.
