The Hudnalls Hideout
The treehouse is a totally secluded, romantic space for couples, set in a 2 acre private wood, bordering the larger Hudnalls ancient woodland. The wonderful location, nestled away within the beautiful Wye Valley, allows you to truly connect with the outdoors, and totally switch off from modern day tech distractions.
Nature cocoons you… the trees are within touching distance and the woods are home to native fallow deer, badgers, squirrels, foxes and many wild birds including tawny owls and woodpeckers. A cosy ‘cabin-in-the-woods’ with amazing floor to ceiling viewing windows, looking out onto the treetops surrounding you, perfect for a spot of late night star gazing too.
Notable previous guests include Sandi Toksvig & Prue Leith, who visited for Channel 4’s Extraordinary Escapes, and enjoyed an autumnal forage with yours truly…
Dryhill
Dryhill is a stunning 17th Century Cotswold vineyard estate with huge panoramic views to the far horizon: a great place to free your mind and gently unwind.
Set in a private rural location, originally Dryhill formed part of a Roman ‘Villa Rustica’ dating back to around 76 AD, parts of which can still be seen. As part of their rewilding efforts, the owners have spent 30 years planting over 2000 trees and creating wildflower meadows to support their own beehives.
It truly is a beautiful location, and I’m really glad to be be able to offer guided walks around the site to their visitors.
Bolthole Retreats
